Noel Gifts Supports President's Challenge 2024

‘Bringing People Closer, Making Every Day Better.’ At Noel Gifts, we demonstrate our heartfelt commitment to make a difference by giving back to our society in tangible and impactful ways.

This year, Noel Gifts was proud to be part of the SingHealth President's Challenge 2024, SingHealth Lights Up Lives, which aims to benefit five important organisations through its fundraising activities, namely: the Singapore Cancer Society, Singapore Hospice Council, SingHealth Fund, Ang Mo Kio-Thye Hua Kwan Hospital, and the mental health social service agency Shan You.

The funds that were raised will be dedicated to addressing critical needs in our community, such as supporting the terminally ill, the elderly, caregivers, and youth facing mental health challenges.

Held on 31st August at the Promontory @ Marina Bay, SingHealth’s President’s Challenge gathered over 1,500 staff and families for a memorable night of fundraising and celebration.

Noel Gifts was privileged to contribute to this cause with a $20,000 cash donation and an additional $5,000 worth of sponsored prizes. Together with SingHealth, Noel Gifts contributed to raising over $1.3 million for the President’s Challenge, making a significant impact on the lives of those in need.

As the night unfolded, participants came together to form a giant heart that illuminated the Marina Bay skyline, earning a spot in the Singapore Book of Records. Noel Gifts’ Chief Operating Officer, Bernedatte Kwan and Senior Manager, Jess Chan, were honoured to attend SingHealth’s finale event on October 5th, which was graced by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. Being a part of this unforgettable experience was deeply fulfilling as we witnessed everyone coming together to support such a meaningful cause.

Noel Gifts is thankful for the opportunity to contribute to this important initiative and remain committed to making a real difference in the lives of those who matter.

  About President's Challenge

Initiated by former President S R Nathan in 2000, President’s Challenge represents the coming together of people from all walks of life to help the less fortunate. In 2012, under the leadership of President Tony Tan Keng Yam, President’s Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising, by including volunteerism and social entrepreneurship.

Every dollar donated to President’s Challenge goes directly to the benefitting organisations.
